Fairies
The Fairies series is Cedric's longest ongoing sculpture series.
Since childhood, he was always fascinated with the macro world. The idea that an entire world exists on a different scale wherever you look was his link to the fantasy world he grew up dreaming about.
The fairies are each unique in their designs, and after decades of designing, he is always surprised that new possibilities of composition are still available to him.
The fairies are a mixed media composition of insects and plants reflecting the astonishing beauty of the natural world.
Thrones
Thrones is a natural evolution of Cedric's celebrated Fairies series, expanding the narrative beyond the fairy itself to reveal the enchanted worlds these ethereal beings inhabit. Each sculptural throne serves as a stage for an imagined kingdom, transforming delicate fantasy into immersive environments that evoke wonder, mythology, and forgotten realms.
Crafted from preserved butterflies, insects, botanicals, bones, and other natural elements, the works continue Cedric's signature exploration of nature's beauty while introducing a heightened sense of scale, architecture, and ceremony. Every composition is meticulously assembled, allowing the organic forms to dictate the structure, resulting in thrones that appear both regal and organically grown, inviting viewers to look beyond the individual figure and into a broader fantastical universe, one where nature is both architect and storyteller.

Birds I
The Birds I series is the natural succession to Cedric's fairy sculptures, the underlying idea being that birds are the pinnacle of nature, showing off how beautiful they can be.
In this series, Cedric tries to reverse the age-old idea that nature inspires art and attempt to create birds that are inspired by fashion designers throughout the ages that captures something timeless and beautiful.
Birds II
Birds II is the second series of Birds. This idea emerged during Cedric's travels and was inspired by an image of a Christian Dior gown. From that moment, Cedric began to see a connection between the worlds of fashion, interior design, and nature.
In this series, Cedric celebrates their innate sophistication, drawing upon the refined palettes and tactile qualities of haute couture fashion and interiors.

Vulgaris
"Leo Vulgaris" is the crown jewel of Cedric's series Vulgaris.
The series explores the theme of momento Mori by merging traditional taxidermy with the unusual addition of colorful summer flowers resulting in an ecstatic and vibrant sculpture.
The lion is the highest symbol of strength, power, and dominance. This medium aims to explore the theme of life and death simultaneously in all of their respective beauty.
Archetypes
The marble sculptures of the ancient world used to represent gods, and figures of mythology were meant to bring the divine into a humanly recognizable shape.
Each of these sculptures represents an achetype found in every type of storytelling, weather it be religious, legendary, or mythological.
The image of "the Mother", "the Sinner"," the Prophet" or "the Emperor" are the building blocks that connect all storytelling together. They are the symbols that humanity have used since the dawn of time to make sense of the world and our place in it.
