Fairies
The Fairies series is Cedric's longest ongoing sculpture series.
Since childhood, he was always fascinated with the macro world. The idea that an entire world exists on a different scale wherever you look was his link to the fantasy world he grew up dreaming about.

The fairies are each unique in their designs, and after decades of designing, he is always surprised that new possibilities of composition are still available to him.

The fairies are a mixed media composition of insects and plants reflecting the astonishing beauty of the natural world.
Birds
The " Birds I" series is the natural succession to Cedric's fairy sculptures, the underlying idea being that birds are the pinnacle of nature, showing off how beautiful they can be.

In this series, I try to reverse the age-old idea that nature inspires art and attempt to create birds that are inspired by fashion designers throughout the ages that captures something timeless and beautiful.

Vulgaris
"Leo Vulgaris" is the crown jewel of Cedric's series "Vulgaris."

The series explores the theme of momento Mori by merging traditional taxidermy with the unusual addition of colorful summer flowers resulting in an ecstatic and vibrant sculpture.

The lion is the highest symbol of strength, power, and dominance. This medium aims to explore the theme of life and death simultaneously in all of their respective beauty.
Anatomic Models
Biology was always Cedric's favorite subject. The efficiency, architecture, and design of the natural world (from organs to skeletal structures, plants, and even minerals) are the key in his mind to every form of beauty that artists interpret into architecture object design, fashion, etc.

In the "Anatomic Model" series, Cedric explores how the beauty of organic shapes unconsciously arises in the objects we make, whether intended or not.

A baby toy turned upside down, or a massage tool bought in a thrift store can be taken out of context to create something that looks like it belongs to a new exciting alien anatomy.

Archetypes
The marble sculptures of the ancient world used to represent gods, and figures of mythology were meant to bring the divine into a humanly recognizable shape.

Each of these sculptures represents an achetype found in every type of storytelling, weather it be religious legendary or mythological.
The Image of "the Mother", "the Sinner"," the prophet" or "the emperor" are the building blocks that connect all storytelling together.
They are the symbols that humanity have used since the dawn of time to make sense of the world and our place in it.
RORSCHACH (COMING SOON)
This series is called "Rorschach" and is inspired by the psychological tests from the beginning of the century.

The shapes are abstract, organic, and symmetric and are meant to conjure the viewer's imagination.

The materials are always changing color and brilliance with the movement of the viewer to offer a wall piece that will warp with the ambient light. The ever-changing texture reflects the constant change of mood and character that people experience.
