As a child, biology was my favourite subject mostly because of the room where we studied that was filled with globes skeletons and anatomic models. As an adult, I remained a fan of anatomic models and how the attention put into the representation of diverse organs were abstract sculptures on their own.

When I started collecting toys from second-hand stores I noticed how, when put out of context, these relatively simple objects had a very organic nature and before you know it, I was making organs of my own and anatomic models of things somewhere in between plants creatures and organs.

The organs are mixed media and a collection of second-hand toys.
